P.A.C.T. |
|
P.A.C.T. (Parent and Child Transitions), is a four-week course offering education and understanding about how the divorce experience relates to parenting. The Greenville County Family Court has ordered “that all parties in cases filed with (Greenville County) Family Court (excluding Rules to Show Causes and DSS abuse/neglect cases, unless otherwise ordered) which involve contested custody issues related to custody and/or visitation of children under eighteen (18) years of age shall complete the P.A.C.T. in Greenville, South Carolina, or similar alternative program approved by the Chief Administrative Judge.” This means both parents involved in a contested custody suit would have to complete the P.A.C.T. Program. For further information regarding the program and its cost, you need to contact: Greenville County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, 730 S. Pleasantburg Drive, Suite 204, Greenville SC 29607, (864) 467-3940. |
